I welcome you to the website of Marist Mission Ranong (MMR).  The beginning of 2012 saw some changes in the leadership in MMR.   Fr John Larsen has finished his term of office with MMR.

As Director, Fr John built up the existing programmes and projects in response to the urgent needs of the migrants in Ranong.

MMR and the Burmese community in Ranong are very grateful for Fr John’s commitment and hard work in assisting the displaced migrant workers and their families in Ranong.

He is now assigned to a new ministry in Rome as a Director of our Marist International Seminary.

It is a privilege for me to replace Fr John and serve MMR in a new leadership role.  I will do my best to preserve and develop the present programmes and dedicate myself to work and serve effectively  the vulnerable and less fortunate people in Ranong.

I am very grateful to our donors, benefactors and partners who have supported and assisted us in many ways to do our work in Ranong. Without their support and encouragement, our work among the Burmese migrants would not be possible.  I hope this wonderful and generous support will continue.

Every blessing,

Fr Kevin Medilo, SM
