Children’s Day was celebrated at MAF on Friday, 9 January. The programme balanced responsibility, education, and fun—reflecting the spirit of Children’s Day as a time to recognise the value, dignity, and potential of every child.
The morning began with a community cleaning activity from 9:10 to 10:10 am. Students took part according to their age: older primary students helped clean areas outside the centre, while younger learners remained at the centre. This activity encouraged a sense of shared responsibility for the common environment.
After a short break, the day moved into educational sessions from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Students learned about national leadership in Thailand, with a special focus on local government in Ranong. Students were also introduced to key children’s rights helping them recognise both their rights and their responsibilities toward others.
In the afternoon, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, the focus shifted to games and group activities.
Overall, Children’s Day at MAF was more than a celebration—it was a reminder that children grow best when they are trusted with responsibility, taught with respect, and given space to play together.
